The great room in this country contemporary had been comfortably furnished and lived in for a decade, but it was time to finish the decorating.

Several small, new items were selected and a color scheme developed. A painting contractor was chosen carefully to ensure minimal disruption during the job.

Architectural features were highlighted and subtle colors used on the walls to create a more distinct and cozy feeling to this open and airy great room. The oil painting over the fireplace is by artist Chet Kalm.
