An avid collector of mid 20th century “antiques” purchased a series of buildings strategically located along busy routes 7 & 20 in the Southern Berkshires. Traffic traveling to or from the Mass Pike or NYC to famous Berkshire cultural destinations such as Tanglewood, Shakespeare & Co, or Edith Wharton’s The Mount, must have noticed these nearly abandoned buildings before the summer of 2006.

With a lot of sweat equity and paint, owner Pierre Duhon transformed this challenging property into an eye-catching destination. Erica Fay selected the exterior colors inspired by Fiestaware and the classic T-bird to maximize the exposure to passing traffic and presents an enticing message about what can be found inside.

Open for Business
The Retro Pop Shop opened in July 2006. Fans of mid century (1930 – 1980) collectable and nostalgic items will love this destination with its vibrant exterior, interior décor, and ever-changing selection of items that everyone will enjoy.
